Literacy Block Lesson Plans for the 1st Week of School

This is a lesson plan that incorporates Daily 5 and Cafe lessons for the 1st week of school. You will see that we only introduce Read to Self the first week. You will also see that strategy lessons can be selected from your district instructional guide or reading textbook. Just remember to add the strategy to the CAFE board (Strategy Board).
